Obituary of Patrick Timothy Jones

Private Patrick Timothy Jones age 19, of Girard passed away, Sunday, November 21, 2010 in rural Girard as a result of automoblie accident. He was born Tuesday, May 14, 1991 in Springfield, IL, the son of Martin and Jennifer Eileen (Tucker) Bartz. Patrick attended Girard High School and had worked in construction before accepting a job at Pleasant Hill Village where he had volunteered the past few months. He served in Illinois National Guard. Patrick loved to hunt, fish and spend time outdoors. Survivors: parents, Martin & Jennifer (Tucker) Bartz of Girard, IL, grandmother, Mary Gorbett of Springfield, IL, sisters, Heather & Mariya Jones and Allie Cousins of Girard, IL, step sister, Patricia Johnson of Macon, MO, step brother, Justin Bartz of Girard, IL, aunt Annette Marie Tucker of Springfield, IL, uncle Michael P. Tucker of North Carolina, several cousins, nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David L. Borst. Funeral Information Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, November 26 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL. Funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Girard Cemetery at a later date.
