Byron J. Borman
93, of Carlinville, passed away Wednesday morning, May 9, 2012 at Carlinville Area Hospital, Carlinville, IL.
Byron was born on June 16, 1918 to Henry and Ottilia (Hauer) Borman in Carlinville. Byron graduated from Carlinville High School and started farming on the Borman family farm in Bird Township. Byron attended the Charity Baptist Church in rural Carlinville. He was an airplane enthusiast and taught flying to several people in the Carlinville area. Byron was known for his love of the outdoors and enjoyed water skiing and snowmobiling. He was known as the "Ski King" and taught several of his daughter's friends to water ski.
Byron is survived by his loving wife, Reba; daughters - DeeAnn Cook (Michael) of Brandon, FL, Joy Lea Rodgers ( Richard) of Valrico, FL; grandsons Robert Rodgers, Nicholas Rodgers; granddaughter Dr. Christine Cook; three great grandchildren; sisters - Ruth Von Behren of Springfield, IL and Ina Warrington of Springfield, IL.
He was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Ethel Steube, Edna Tishar, Verna Rodgers, and brother, Harold Borman. Funeral Information
Visitation will be held Friday, May 11, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, 10:30 am at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home.
Burial will take place in the Charity Cemetery rural Carlinville. Donations Information
