Condolences
I learned of Jack's passing on 4/10 from close friends of his yesterday at the Jacksonville World of Outlaws Sprint Race. Thanks to his friends coming to the trailer to tell me that he had passed as I would not have known.
I have seen and visited with Jack for over 20 years at WoO events and always found his smile infectious, his kind words and knowledge of racing always something that I looked forward to. I don't think we ever talked about his family much as the environment was race related and topic of conversation. I sure wish I had known that he had been in the restaurant business as we could have shared a lot more conversation.
I am dedicating a brick at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum to Jack in his memory and love of the sport. My condolences to his family and friends. We have lost a great person and another sprint car fan. I am proud to call him a great friend.

Condolences to the family! I met Jack several years ago through his special friend Becky, we had alot of great laughs together, took a couple of desert trips in our jeep & even left a memory of Jack & Becky in the desert, pretty ironic we had just gotten back from there & Becky got the message that Jack had passed, RIP peace my friend, Eloise Weaver Yuma Arizona.

To Daugherty family: MY husband, my daughter and I had the opportunity to have known Jack for many years. Jack and I use to celebrate our birthday together for several years. Our daughter use to work for Jack at the "Grub and Pub" for several years. Wishing family and friends a song in your heart, sunshine after the clouds, and a rainbow after the rain.
